Throwback - St. Patricks Day

With the Irish patron saint's day fast approaching, I thought I would share a post I did 2 years ago sharing some of what I did in my classroom for St.Patrick's Day called 'Let's Go Green'. The freebie is still available!

Original Post - 16th March 2014

And celebrate St.Patrick's Day!

What are you doing with your class?

We made leprechauns that I found from a pin from Theme Party Palace.

We also made a different type of leprechaun adapted from one I saw on I {heart} crafty things

Next week during our Reading Roundabout we are going to be using the sight word board games from Make, Take and Teach, but with some little counters that I made from some St.Patrick's Day clip art from My Cute Graphics.

The Challenge Area is equipped with my Leprechaun Number Bonds to 10 (grab this freebie from my store!).

I'm also quite tempted to make the children watch Leprechaun Gold because its a classic!

Happy (early) St.Patrick's Day to you all!

March Currently Time

So February was not as blog productive as I'd hoped, but in my defence, half-term distracted me!

Anyway, time to start another month with another Currently with Oh Boy It's Farley!

Listening - Jane the Virgin, found this show on Netflix and its hilarious. So ridiculous, but completely addictive!

Loving - Skype. Whoever invented this was a genius! I spent 2 hours catching up with one of my former colleagues (and closest friend at my previous job) who I've been missing terribly at my new job.

Thinking - How long can I drag out my dinner time break before I need to go and do some work (answer: quite a long time if I start blogging)

Wanting - Dessert, but I've given it up for Lent...

Needing - To blog, more than I did last month anyway!

Polling Site - No polling site here as I'm not in the US, but even on polling days, my school won't be one that gets used. In the UK, when my previous school was used we had staff INSET days so there were no children on site.
